Taiwan Culinary & Canyon Explorer: Your ultimate private Taiwan tour begins in Taipei. With your guide and driver, you’ll start with a hands-on cooking class making xiao long bao and beef noodle soup, then dive into Shilin and Raohe Night Markets to sample stinky tofu, oyster omelets and mango shaved ice. Wander Dadaocheng’s backstreets to shop for artisanal tea, dried mushrooms and ginseng, and savor oolong at an atmospheric tea house. Visit Longshan Temple, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial, ascend Taipei 101 for panoramic views, and admire treasures at the National Palace Museum.
Next, board the scenic train to Hualien and transfer into Taroko Gorge, where you’ll explore the Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto and Shakadang River. Enjoy a hike or relax with spa treatments at your resort.
