At 08:00, our guide and driver will be waiting for you outside the gate of Phu My Port, We will then drive to Ba Ria Vung Tau and continue to Hoa Long village to visit Nui Dat, where Australian soldiers established a base in 1966. Explore the old bunkers, Kangaroo pad, SAS hill (Nui Dat hill), Luscombe airfield, and the battalion’s flagpole.
Next, we will visit Long Tan village to see the Long Tan Cross, rebuilt by Australian veterans in memory of the 18 soldiers who lost their lives in the 1966 Long Tan battle. Also, visit The Horseshoe Fire Support Base, Long Phuoc Tunnel, and the museum. We will have lunch in Ba Ria before returning to Phu My Port.
